Architecting Venjns – A Complex Social Media Super-App
We built Venjns as an ambitious in-house startup, combining an Instagram-style feed, built-in dating mechanics, and an audiobook library into a single Android app. While the venture ultimately ran out of funding, its highly scalable AWS infrastructure and AI-driven content engines stand as a testament to our elite engineering capabilities.

The Vision
Venjns was born out of a desire to consolidate the digital social experience. Instead of forcing users to jump between different apps for social networking, dating, and media consumption, we set out to build a unified "super-app" for Android. The goal was to engineer a seamless ecosystem where users could scroll an Instagram-like feed, switch to dating features, and listen to audiobooks—all within one fluid interface.

To support such a wide array of heavy features, the underlying architecture had to be bulletproof. We designed a robust, enterprise-grade backend utilizing AWS infrastructure.
- Real-Time Communication: Implemented low-latency WebSockets to power instant messaging, live chats, and real-time feed updates.
- AI Content Categorization: Built intelligent algorithms to automatically categorize user-generated content and tailor the feed to individual preferences.
