Let's Talk
How we work

Our process

A repeatable, transparent system for shipping products. No black boxes, no sudden surprises — just honest work with clear milestones.

5Phases
1–10 wksTypical timeline
WeeklyLive demos
01

Discovery & Scoping

1–2 days

We dig into your idea, goals, constraints, and users before writing a single line of code. Bad assumptions kill projects — we eliminate them early.

What we do
  • Kickoff call: goals, users, competitors, success metrics
  • Technical audit of any existing system or codebase
  • Stack selection and architecture recommendation
  • Written scope document with clear boundary conditions
Deliverables
  • Requirements document
  • Technical feasibility report
  • Scope & timeline estimate
  • Risk register
02

Design & Architecture

2–5 days

We design the system before building it. UI/UX wireframes, database schema, API contracts — all decided before code is written.

What we do
  • Low-fi wireframes → client feedback → high-fi Figma prototype
  • Entity-relationship diagram and data model
  • API endpoint contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger)
  • Infrastructure design: hosting, CDN, storage, auth
Deliverables
  • Figma wireframes & prototype
  • System architecture diagram
  • Database schema
  • API design docs
03

Development Sprints

1–5 weeks

Engineering in weekly sprints with demos every Friday. You see real progress, not status updates. Scope is locked — changes go on the backlog.

What we do
  • Core data layer, auth, project scaffolding
  • Feature sprints from highest to lowest priority
  • Automated test suite built alongside features (not after)
  • Friday deploy + async Loom walkthrough of the week's work
Deliverables
  • Weekly deployed builds
  • Sprint demo recordings
  • Updated changelog
  • Test coverage reports
04

QA & Hardening

2–4 days

We don't ship without a QA pass. Cross-browser, cross-device, edge cases, performance benchmarking, and security review.

What we do
  • Manual and automated cross-browser/device testing
  • Load testing and performance profiling
  • OWASP security checklist review
  • Accessibility audit (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Deliverables
  • QA test report
  • Lighthouse performance scores
  • Security checklist
  • Bug fix log
05

Launch & Handoff

1–2 days

Production deploy, monitoring setup, and a full knowledge transfer so you're never dependent on us to keep things running.

What we do
  • Zero-downtime deployment with rollback strategy
  • Error tracking (Sentry), uptime monitoring, log aggregation
  • Developer documentation and admin user guide
  • 30-day post-launch support included in every project
Deliverables
  • Live production deployment
  • Monitoring dashboard
  • Documentation & runbook
  • 30-day support window
Principles

How we think

Written first
Every decision — scope, design choice, technical trade-off — is documented in writing before we proceed. Ambiguity kills projects.
Ship weekly
Real deployments every Friday. Not mockups, not staging demos — something live you can actually click through.
No surprise invoices
Fixed-scope projects mean fixed prices. We don't bill by the hour. If we underestimate, we absorb it.
You own everything
All code, all assets, all infrastructure access. We hand it over completely. No lock-in, ever.
Async by default
Most communication is async. We respect your time. Meetings only when async genuinely doesn't work.
Honest estimates
We'd rather lose a deal by being realistic than win it with an optimistic estimate we can't deliver.
FAQ

Common questions

How long does a typical project take?
A focused MVP takes 1–6 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger products or SaaS platforms typically run 8–14 weeks. We give you an honest estimate in the scoping phase — not a number designed to win the deal.
Do you work with early-stage founders with no tech background?
Yes, and it's some of our favourite work. We'll guide you through every decision in plain language. You don't need to know what an API is — we'll explain what matters and skip the rest.
Can I make changes during development?
Small clarifications are expected and free. Scope changes go on a formal change request with a revised timeline and cost. We don't let scope creep silently kill a project's quality.
What happens after launch?
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support. After that, we offer monthly retainer arrangements for ongoing feature work, or you can take the codebase fully in-house — it's yours.
How do you handle pricing?
Fixed-scope, fixed-price. We quote the full project after the scoping phase, not before. We charge a small scoping fee (credited against the project) to ensure we're giving you an accurate number.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes, we sign mutual NDAs before any discussion of sensitive business details. Your idea is safe with us.
