About the Role
Design at DareByte is fast and functional. You'll deliver Figma files with clear component structures and design tokens that developers love. We ship quickly so you'll see your designs go live within weeks.
What You'll Do
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity Figma designs for web and mobile
- Build and maintain design systems with reusable components and design tokens
- Map user flows and information architecture for new products
- Collaborate closely with developers — handoff-ready files with annotated specs
- Iterate on designs based on client feedback and usability observations
- Design responsive layouts — desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints
- Create brand assets — logos, icons, and illustrations when needed
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of UI/UX design for digital products — web or mobile apps
- Figma proficiency — components, auto-layout, variables, interactive prototyping
- Strong visual design fundamentals — typography, spacing, colour, hierarchy
- Experience designing for both web apps and mobile (iOS/Android)
- Portfolio showing shipped, real product design — not just concepts
- Understanding of frontend constraints and developer handoff best practices
- Basic UX skills — user flows, personas, usability heuristics
Nice to Have
- Dark mode and theming design system experience
- Motion design and micro-interaction specification
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding of developer constraints
- Framer or advanced interactive prototyping experience
