About the Role
You'll build native Android apps that are fast, beautiful, and maintainable. We use modern Android development — Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, MVVM — not legacy Java XML layouts.
What You'll Do
- Build Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
- Implement MVVM architecture with ViewModel and StateFlow
- Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp
- Implement Firebase services — Auth, Firestore, FCM, Analytics
- Handle Android permissions, background tasks, and WorkManager
- Publish apps to Google Play Store and manage releases
- Write unit and UI tests with JUnit and Espresso
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of Android development in Kotlin
- Jetpack Compose experience — XML-only candidates not preferred
- MVVM architecture and modern Android patterns
- REST API integration with Retrofit
- Firebase services experience
- Google Play Store publishing experience
- GitHub portfolio with published or demo apps — required
Nice to Have
- Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) experience
- Accessibility implementation experience
- Material Design 3 components
- In-app purchases and subscription billing
